How to make a gin quarantini cocktail

Just because we can’t head to our favourite Joburg bars for a drink doesn’t mean we have to give up on a top-notch cocktail hour. We’re living in unprecedented times, so we might as well follow the rules, stay safe and enjoy a tasty Gin Quarantini. This cocktail will make your solo cocktail session special!

Ingredients:

5 parts Bombay Sapphire Gin

1 part dry vermouth

2 dashes orange bitters

Method:

Build all ingredients in a shaker tin with ice and shake.

Strain into a coupe and garnish with olives (you can skewer the olives and lay them across the glass or simply drop them into the glass) lemon twist or cocktail onion.

Top tip

If you’d like to add emergency vitamin C to your Gin Quarantini, there are a few ways you can do it. Either rim your glass with vitamin C, add it directly to your shaker or take it straight before a big drink of your Quarantini. Bottoms up!
